About the Competition
The competition focuses on startups in the growth phase—so-called “scale-ups”—with transformative tech products that utilize sophisticated, hard-to-replicate digital technologies and thus drive digital transformation.
A total of 409 companies from 33 countries applied for the competition. They cover a wide range of sectors that were strategically selected based on key digital trends and Europe’s leadership potential: Digital Tech, Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Finance, and Digital Wellbeing. The team at ParkHere is delighted to have been selected by the expert jury and is eagerly looking forward to the finals.

An Exciting Outlook
The top twenty companies will be invited to an exclusive online final event on September 21 to present their technology to an international jury of experts from the corporate and investment communities.
ParkHere will compete against nineteen other European deep tech scaleups. Three winners will be selected and will receive a full year of support from the EIT Digital Accelerator, valued at €50,000, to develop their businesses in Europe and beyond. The first-place winner will also receive a cash prize of €100,000.
The EIT Digital Challenge is now in its eighth consecutive year. Since its launch in 2014, the competition has received a total of 2,900 applications from 35 countries. The original press release from the EIT can be found here.
