Due to a direct 1:1 allocation of workstations and a work-from-home policy, the actual occupancy rate was only 50%—while at the same time, there were long waiting lists for available spots existed and complaints from the staff were on the rise. Added to this was the growing desire among employees to be able to charge their personal electric vehicles at the company’s location.
