ParkHere is among the finalists for the German Digital Award “The Spark”: All the details about the awards ceremony on November 12, 2020
The “The Spark” award is being presented for the fifth consecutive year and honors business ideas that have the potential to fundamentally transform markets. Trends and innovative business models will be presented in line with this year’s focus topic, “Smart Mobility.” The high-profile jury from the mobility industry and the recent online voting have already selected the winners, who will be announced during the upcoming event.
The ParkHere concept was evaluated in terms of innovation, scalability, and customer value. Subject matter experts, together with Handelsblatt editors and a McKinsey representative, closely examined the business model and ultimately selected ParkHere as one of the ten most promising companies. The finalists include startups from the DACH region spanning all forms of mobility and solutions: providers of digitized hardware, software, and services alike.
Due to the current situation, the event will take place online. Under the theme “Remote & Interactive,” participants will have the opportunity to watch the awards ceremony live, visit the finalists’ virtual expo booths, and engage in personal discussions.
The event features two locations where participants can connect with startups: Expo and After-Show Sessions.
Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to visit the ParkHere’s virtual booth as part of the Expo. Following the main program, the finalists will each host a video call session. Participants can join the call, ask questions about the company, and discuss the topic of smart mobility. The ParkHere founders Felix Harteneck, Clemens Techmer, and Jakob Sturm will therefore be available in person for discussion starting at 9:30 p.m.
The awards ceremony will also feature many other exciting highlights, such as an exclusive keynote address by Sebastian Thrun, founder and CEO of KittyHawk, as well as the presentation of the Female Founder Award, which is designed to encourage female digital pioneers to take the leap into entrepreneurship.

The awards ceremony on Thursday, November 12, at 8:00 p.m. is open to the public.
