ParkHere is revolutionizing parking space management for office properties with ParkHere OS Access
Munich, September 20, 2023 — The Munich-based technology company ParkHere announces the launch of its new product, ParkHere OS Access. The system is designed for asset or project managers who manage office properties or are involved in the planning and development of new buildings. It enables efficient parking space management, simplifying the administrative process for landlords while offering tenants flexibility in self-managing and using the parking spaces to which they are contractually entitled. The system is scalable and can be implemented in properties of any size, including mixed-use properties. It also offers an interface to ParkHere’s smart parking system.
ParkHere OS Access: The Digital Access System for Parking Areas
The ParkHere OS Access system is a digital access system for parking areas that operates via automatic license plate recognition or QR code access. It consists of smart hardware installed at the entrance and exit of the parking areas and easy-to-use software that allows tenants to manage the access system themselves. Each tenant receives individual access to a platform where the contractually agreed-upon parking spaces are listed. This enables tenants to manage parking authorizations for their employees themselves and to send visitors a QR code via email that grants them access. This not only allows them to design hybrid work models flexibly and according to need, but also helps increase employee satisfaction.
The Foundation for Smart Buildings: An Interface to a Smart Parking System
By implementing ParkHere OS Access—whether as part of a modernization project for existing properties or as part of mobility planning for new buildings—landlords are also laying the foundation for a smart building: It provides an interface for easy integration with ParkHere’s smart parking system, enabling additional features such as real-time parking space reservations for tenants to further optimize parking space utilization. Integration of charging infrastructure is also possible. Tenants can opt to add this customizable and modular expansion as a paid upgrade.
