Since the start of construction in 2005, the Business Campus Munich Garching has around 6000 employees working in the 110 companies located on the site. The concept includes well-founded customer advice, individual room solutions, infrastructure facilities ranging from restaurants to daycare centers for children, thus enabling a combination of work and life. As part of the DV Immobilien Group, the Business Campus belongs to a strong group of companies. The approach of the Business Campus is to optimize and control the occupancy of parking spaces in the underground garages of the individual buildings and to reduce the loss of time and parking frustration. In addition to the ParkHere all-in-one solution, other environmentally friendly forms of mobility such as car sharing, ridesharing and electric mobility are already part of the Business Campus mobility concept.
The Managing Director of the Business Campus, Michael Blaschek, is enthusiastic: “ParkHere has already proven in the past that innovative mobility concepts can greatly reduce parking pressure. With ParkHere we have an experienced expert at our side, who offers digital, innovative and sustainable solutions to the problems of parking space utilization around the topic of mobility”.
The ParkHere solution enables equal opportunities in the reservation of parking spaces for employees. The solution takes into account both economic aspects such as efficient use of resources and ecological aspects such as the potential reduction of traffic searching for parking spaces and exhaust emissions.
The high-tech company ParkHere consists of a 50-strong team and has been on the market since 2015. Mobility concepts for companies such as Telefónica, GfK, MAN, Interhyp and Wacker Neuson have been developed and implemented with proven success. Felix Harteneck, Managing Director of ParkHere GmbH is confident: “With the implementation of the project at the Munich Garching Business Campus, we are laying the foundation for maximizing the utilization of the existing parking spaces in the underground garages and thus also for relieving the overall parking situation“.
