The first self-powered parking sensor

  • Our sensor can be easily installed in any type of road pavement by using the existing lane marking machinery.
  • The installation process takes less than 5 minutes.
  • Our sensor needs to be embedded under 18 mm of pavement in order to produce a seamless surface.
  • If the client prefers to avoid a pavement cut, the sensor can also be attached to the ground.
  • The sensors is responsive to both parallel and transverse parking types.

The sensors can be installed in different locations of the parking area. This will determine the accuracy of the results obtained.

  1. Entrance & Exit: The information obtained shows the total number of available parking spots.
  2. Level counting: shows the total number of available parking spots per level.
  3. Single-spot counting: Shows the exact location of each available parking spot.

 

  • ParkHere’s sensor does not require an external power supply or batteries.  It has a small power plant on board which harvests energy from environmental impacts such as vibration and pressure
  • Our sensor is designed to have high durability.
  • Its lifetime is of 25 years with no maintenance required during this period.

BASE STATION & CLOUD

  1. SIGNAL TRANSMISSION

  • Our base station can support the signal transmissions of an unlimited number of sensors within a radius of 250 meters.
  • It can run on solar power or electricity and can be mounted on street lamps, on nearby buildings or in EV charging stations.
  • It uses GPRS connection to transmit the data to ParkHere‘s cloud server.

Navigation service providers, OEMs, urban planning bureaus, apps and other interested businesses can have licensed access to our server.

  2. DATA PROCESSING

  • All the parking events received by our base station are sent to ParkHere’s cloud.
  • In this way real-time information and historical data can be obtained.
  • Algorithms are applied to filter and to identify different kind of information such as parking violations, parking timings, customer behavior patterns, and more.

ParkHere helps parking enforcement agencies, improves traffic flow, increases car parks’ turnover, and it is environmentally friendly.

APPLICATIONS

The data stored in our server allows the user to access it from anywhere. Such data is processed in order to have a variety of information which can be shown in different platforms depending on the client’s needs.
